To those that ordered FoLD #1
Again, I'm real sorry that you haven't received your issues yet. I've been emailing them and they hadn't responded until now. Here's my latest email correspondence with them:

----------------------------------------------
So there you go. Someday you will get your books. For the next issue I will order a bunch of copies from Ka-Blam and send them out myself so I can be sure you receive them. Thanks for being patient.
------------------------------------------------
Flight of the Living Dead #1 has been on sale for almost two months now and nobody who has ordered a copy has received it yet.
I've sent multiple emails now asking when you expect these comics will be shipped out and have been ignored every time. I would appreciate if you could ship the comics to the people who purchased them or refund my customer's money if you don't plan on sending the comics out.
You can rest assured I will be using Lulu or Ka-Blam for future issues.
Thanks
Scott Ewen

Scott,
We are doing everything we can to catch up on the backlog of store orders. After a busy summer convention season and a move of offices we've finally been able to settle in and tackle the print orders. Adding new titles and filling previously placed orders are now our focus and all orders will be shipping as quickly as possible. Older orders will be given a complimentary upgrade to Priority Mail.
And I'm sorry you're so disappointed in our service. We're a small group getting out an amazing amount of high-quality work. But if at any point you would like your book removed from our store just let me know and I can take care of that for you.

Space Koalas!
This is for a draw-off at Penciljack where you had to redo an old page of sequentials. I chose a page from "Infinity Vortex," a comic I did in 2001/2002. But I don't like the title anymore, so I'm changing it to "Space Koalas!" Maybe without the exclamation point, I haven't decided.
Here's the original page, for the curious. Click the page below to make it bigger:

Cleo from "Wet Moon"
A five-minute sketch for an "indie comics" draw-off at Penciljack. I wish I had more time, but I only have myself to blame. I was the one who started the draw-off.

Music recommendation: "In Rainbows"
Radiohead has released a new album this month entitled "In Rainbows."
It's quite good, although not as good as OK Computer or Kid A in my opinion. It's Radiohead, though, so it's still an excellent album. And you can pay whatever you want for it (so essentially you can get it for free but I recommend throwing at least a couple bucks their way, because I wholeheartedly support what they're doing distributing the album online). So you have no excuse not to download it and give it a listen.

Comic Book Recommendation of the Week
The Best American Comics (2007 Edition)
Edited by Chris Ware
I don't know what I could say about this book that isn't already in the title. This is a collection of the best comics of the year (at least, according to Chris Ware). Most of the usual names are here: your Brunettis, your Spiegelmans, your Crumbs and Tomines and Hernandezes (although only Gilbert this year, no Jaime). Just go buy it.

Dragon's Ballz
Here's a character from Dragon Ball Z. I've never seen the show, but I did it for a draw-off at Penciljack.

Highly Recommended: "Proof of Youth"
The new album from The Go! Team came out about a month ago, and I've listened to it almost every day since then. It rules! If you like 70s action movie themes, double dutch chants, or old school rapping, then you are in luck. If you don't like any of those, but think you might enjoy a combination of all three, then have I got the band for you. Here's the first single off "Proof of Youth," called "Grip Like a Vice."
Still skeptical? Then listen: they have two drummers, and the lead singer's name is Ninja. Their awesomeness cannot be denied.
